Chris: I'm okay thank you.
Waiter: Where are you? Is long time since I see you.
Chris: Well, I've been teaching, and busy, you know?
Waiter: What would you like please?
Chris: Can I have some tea please?
Waiter: Yes of course. And do you like milk with that?
Chris: Erm, would you like milk Rufus? (waits) Yes please.
Waiter: Okay.
Chris: Thank you. Erm, what's this Cozi?
Waiter: Er, this is a special food.
Chris: Erm, do you have any vegetarian food?
Waiter: Yes. (points to different things on the menu)
Rufus: Hi, can I have the special salad?
Waiter: Special salad? Yes of course. Anything else.
Rufus: Erm, can I have Baba'ganush as well?
Waiter: Have you had it before?
Rufus: Yes, in Turkey.
Waiter: Is it nice Chris?
Chris: Very nice.
Rufus: It looks nice.
Chris: It does look nice and it smells, mmh, it smells beautiful.
Rufus: How does it taste?
Chris: Let's see. It tastes perfect.
Waiter: Er, sorry Chris. What is this? Is this aubergine?
Chris: This is an aubergine stew with lamb and some green pepper. A little bit of chilli I think. Yes, it's really nice.
Chris: Does it taste nice?
Rufus: It tastes great.
Chris: Does it smell nice?
Rufus: Smells good.
Chris: What about the bread?
Rufus: Sounds nice.
Chris: It does sound nice, yes.
Rufus: Tastes great.
Chris: Let me have a little bit with my meal.
Rufus: Smells good.
Chris: Yes, the bread tastes really good. Okay Rufus what have you got?
Rufus: I've got salad with lemon, olive, jalapeņo pepper, cucumber and tomato. And it's fantastic. Tastes wonderful.
Chris: Have you finished there Rufus?
Rufus: Mmhh.
Chris: Let's have a look. A clean plate. What was it like?
Rufus: Fabulous. Lovely.
Chris: Are you going to have a dessert?
Rufus: I'm full. Sorry. Was that good?
Chris: It was really nice, yes.
Rufus: Is your plate clean?
Chris: My plate is clean. I have finished. Do you want to have a look?
Rufus: What did it taste like?
Chris: It tasted nice. Was quite spicy. I think there was a bit of chilli. Erm, the lamb was nice and tender and, yes, the rice was nicely cooked. It was lovely.
Rufus: Excellent. Are you having pudding?
Chris: I'm not. Unfortunately, I think I've eaten too much and I'm very full.
Waiter: Is everything satisfactory?
Chris: Yes, it was very nice thank you. How much is that?
Waiter: Six pounds.
Chris: Six pounds. There you go. Thank you. Thank you very much.
